Despite being a new player in the real estate industry, Holiday Oceanview received a warm reception when it was launched late last year. “All our prime lots in the subdivision are sold out already,” Bangayan said. Though they admittedly started from scratch in their new venture, Bangayan is still very much optimistic with their new baby. “Even with our other businesses, we also started from scratch, we had to research and learn the ins and outs of the businesses that we have put up,” Bangayan said. She reminisced the times when she herself had to do the dispatching of their radio operated taxis in the city, the Holiday Taxi; when she and her husband had to study how the transport industry worked when they ventured into their bus line company, the Holiday Bus Line; and of course how it was to run a spa and fitness center when they started the Holiday Gym and Spa. “If Cebu has Mactan, Davao has Samal, only that it is way better than Mactan,”Bangayan said.
